Overview

This Privacy Policy describes how Paradise Technology LLC ("we", "us") handles information across the mobile applications we publish, including Walk Up Anthems and Boating Days (each an "app", together the "apps"). The first part of this policy covers practices that apply to all of our apps. App-specific details follow in the supplements at the end.

What Applies to All Paradise Technology Apps

No Paradise Technology servers

We do not operate our own servers, accounts, or analytics backends. Our apps run on your device and use Apple platform services where features require it. We have no ability to read your data outside of what the operating system exposes to the app while you are using it.

No third-party advertising or tracking SDKs

Our apps do not include third-party advertising, marketing, or analytics SDKs. We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for advertising or marketing purposes.

Purchases and subscriptions

Where an app offers paid features, in-app purchases are handled by Apple's StoreKit framework. Transactions, billing, and subscription management are processed by Apple under Apple's terms. We do not receive or store your payment information. You can manage or cancel subscriptions at any time in Settings → [Your Name] → Subscriptions on your Apple device.

Children's privacy

Our apps are not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. Some apps allow an adult to enter information that may reference minors (for example, player names on a youth sports roster). That information is handled only as described in the relevant app supplement below.

Data shared with Apple

Because our apps rely on Apple platform services (such as the App Store, StoreKit, iCloud, CloudKit, WeatherKit, MapKit, and Apple Music where applicable), your use of those features is also covered by Apple's Privacy Policy at apple.com/privacy.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes materially, the updated version will be posted at this URL with a revised "Last updated" date. Continued use of the apps after the changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.

Walk Up Anthems Supplement

This supplement covers practices specific to Walk Up Anthems.

Team and roster data

When you create a team, you enter team names, player names, jersey numbers, and positions. This information is stored locally on your device and, if you are signed into iCloud, backed up to your private iCloud account via Apple's CloudKit service.

Walk-up song selections

The app stores references to songs you select from Apple Music (song identifiers, titles, and artist names). The app does not store audio files. Actual audio is streamed by Apple Music directly.

Team sharing

When you publish a team roster using the invite code feature, your team name, player names, positions, jersey numbers, and selected song identifiers are written to Apple's CloudKit public database so that invited family members can view and join the roster. Do not include information in player names or positions that you would not want to be publicly accessible.

Apple Music access

The app requests permission to access Apple Music for song search and playback. This permission is used solely within the app to find and play walk-up songs. The app does not read or transmit your personal music library.

iCloud account status

The app checks whether you are signed into iCloud to enable backup and sync features. Your iCloud credentials are never accessed or stored by the app.

Subscription

Walk Up Anthems Pro is managed via Apple's StoreKit framework as described in the shared section above.

Your choices (Walk Up Anthems)

• Revoke Apple Music access — Settings → Privacy & Security → Media & Apple Music
• Disable iCloud sync — Settings → [Your Name] → iCloud → Walk Up Anthems
• Delete your data — Deleting the app removes all local data. To remove published team data from CloudKit, delete the team within the app before uninstalling.

Boating Days Supplement

This supplement covers practices specific to Boating Days. Boating Days requires iOS 18.6 or later.

Location

Boating Days requests "While Using" location access. As stated in the app's permission prompt: "Boating Days uses your location to find nearby lakes and show you current weather conditions." Location is used on your device to find nearby lakes (via Apple's MapKit) and to retrieve weather for your current position. Location data is not transmitted to Paradise Technology LLC.

Weather

The app uses Apple's WeatherKit to retrieve forecasts. As stated in the app's permission usage description: "Boating Days uses WeatherKit to calculate boating scores and forecast conditions for your saved lakes and events." Requests to WeatherKit are made by your device to Apple and are subject to Apple's privacy practices.

Data stored locally on your device

• Boating events you create (lake name, coordinates, date, end time, notes, and the score history calculated for that event).
• Score snapshots (timestamp, calculated 1–10 score, primary reason text).
• Lake search results you interact with, including favorites.
• Weather snapshots used to compute scores (wind, precipitation, visibility, temperature, etc.).
• App preferences such as favorite lakes, the last known GPS coordinate, notification preferences, event reminder lead time, and subscription state.

This information is stored locally on your device using Apple's SwiftData framework and UserDefaults. Boating Days does not use CloudKit or iCloud sync, and does not back this data up to any Paradise Technology server.

Widget

Boating Days includes a home-screen widget. The widget reads a small amount of shared state (such as the most recent weather snapshot and your subscription status) via an Apple App Group on your device so that the widget can render without launching the app. This data stays on your device.

Notifications and background refresh

With your permission, Boating Days schedules local notifications (for example, forecast changes, weather warnings, "great day" alerts, and event reminders) and uses iOS background refresh to update boating scores. Notifications are generated on your device.

Subscription

Boating Days Pro is offered as a monthly or yearly auto-renewing subscription, managed entirely through Apple's StoreKit framework as described in the shared section above.

Sharing

Boating Days does not include any sharing, invite, public posting, or data export features. Your boating events and history are not visible to other users.

Third parties

Boating Days does not include third-party analytics, advertising, or crash reporting SDKs. All networking is performed through Apple frameworks (WeatherKit, MapKit, StoreKit).

Your choices (Boating Days)

• Change or revoke location access — Settings → Privacy & Security → Location Services → Boating Days
• Change notification settings — Settings → Notifications → Boating Days, or in the app's settings
• Delete your data — Deleting the app removes all local data, including saved events, favorites, and preferences.
• Manage your subscription — Settings → [Your Name] → Subscriptions
